The KX type separator is designed by applying the plane eddy current theory to the cyclone separator. It can be combined with grinding mills such as Raymond mill, ball mill and roller mill to separate the ultrafine powder, which has the functions of low energy consumption and low pollution. The powder selection efficiency is over 85%; the fineness adjustment is flexible and convenient. The device can also be used for separating the super-standard stone powder in the artificial sand production process, and can conveniently control the content of the stone powder in the artificial sand.

The grinding material enters the inner shell of the cyclone separator from the upper hopper and falls onto the distribute plate integrated with the rotor. Under the high-speed rotation of the distribute plate, the material is subjected to inertial centrifugal force. At the same time, the material is blown under the ascending airflow generated by the blades of the distribute blade. The finer particles float upward and suspend in the chamber, while the coarser materials drop down.
A cage type rotor is set under the distribute plate. The rotor rotates with the main shaft to form a vortex flow. The dropped coarser material is broken up again, and the fine powder is lifted up and returned in the circulating wind.
