There are many types of iron ore, such as magnetite, hematite, limonite, etc. Different iron ores adopt different iron ore mining methods. The beneficiation process is to select different ore dressing methods according to the different nature of ores to achieve the best beneficiation effect. The iron ore mining process includes crushing, grinding and selecting, among which the selecting process mainly includes gravity concentration, magnetic separation and flotation. Due to the differences in the nature of the ore, the processes and equipment used are different, but most of the iron ore processing have the following stages.
The bulk iron ores are fed into the jaw crusher by the vibrating feeder for primary crushing to reach a certain particle size.
The crushed iron ores are screened by a circular vibrating screen and then conveyed by a belt conveyor to a cone crusher for secondary crushing.
In order to improve the fineness of the iron ore, the crushed iron ores enter the ball mill for grinding to achieve a certain fineness requirement.
The grinded ores enter the magnetic separator. The gangue falling from the upper magnetic roller also contains some weak magnetic ore particles. These ore particles enter the lower magnetic roller for magnetic separation. The finished iron ore particles enter mining hoppers. The gangue is discharged from the tailings port and the magnetic separation phase is completed.

3. In the output, there are a part of finished products and a part of semi-finished products. The grade of the semi-finished product can be controlled at about 30-60%. Semi-finished products can be sold directly, or continue to be processed by ball mill.
